Thoughts on insert-type settings?

Hi,

What are your thoughts on this type of setting? I love that the wedding band slides into the engagement setting, but I'm concerned that people will not realize that I'm wearing a wedding band at all. Thoughts? Examples? Ideas?

You make a good point. It doesn't quite say "wedding band". I prefer seeing the engagement and wedding rings side-by-side, but the insert is an interesting concept.
Those are really pretty rings!

I really like that idea! I know a few people who have a shorter span of finger upon which to wear or stack rings, and this approach is a great alternative for them that is beautiful & unique. If anyone feels compelled to comment on your pretty ering, you can simply point out its a wedding band also and show 'em.

I like the idea. My only concern is I'd want a ring that looked good on it'd own, with the band inside it, and the band outside it. Because one, shell wear it on its own for a few months,so you don't want it to look somehow unfinished during your engagement. And then secondly its good to have options. Maybe sometimes you wear the ring in the band, sometimes next to it. Rings like this I think would be fun.

I am not a fan, but I like the traditional e-ring/wedding band combo. I don't think people would recognize it as you wearing a wedding band, it just looks like a unique style ring. I think you'd also be taking it off a lot to show the inset to people which would annoy me.
