Thoughts on a diamond...has a flat?

One of the first diamonds I'm seriously considering but slightly concerned with the upper right side-there appears to be almost a flat in the diamond. I assume that would go right under a prong but still...

It's a 1.2c I Vs2 GIA 3X

I am not seeing that place in the very first image, do you? I would ask the vendor what is wrong with the other images and tell them you want them redone. Otherwise, you need to move on to another stone. Under no circumstances would that dent in the circular shape be acceptable. Hopefully it is just the pictures, but I would look at more stones. The hearts image isn't very good, either.

Good call! They said the diamond was a bit off axis in those shots and will reshoot them
