1.03 H VS2

Any thoughts on this stone? My co-worker has settled on a setting and I wanted to run his center through you guys. The HCA is ok, the X falls within GIA ex but outside AGS X. Any thoughts?

Looks good.

It''ll still be nicer than 90% of the stones out there on the market even if it isn''t AGS0.

nice stone and it would likely get AGS0 light performance.
The outline is based on conservative cutting guidelines not actual grading.
Similar combos have got AGS0

Thanks everyone!

Karl- I''ve always wondered because the AGS outline is such an odd shape, it seems like there should be ok stones in those gaps.

So, is it better than either of these two?

H SI1 1.00
60.7% depth, 57% table, 35° crown angle, 40.6°

or

I VS2 1.09
60.4% depth, 55% table, 35° crown angle, 40.8°

Agreed with the others, it really looks like a great stone.

Let's add one more to the mix for fun,

59.9% depth, 56% table, 34.5° crown angle, 40.8°

G SI 2

ETA: sorry about the enormous picture. Looks like an I4 that big!

all 3 base combos are good so it would come down to more information being needed.
pictures/IS etc.

Whats the girdle rated at?
is it eyeclean?

We''re trying to get IS''s, do they look comparable otherwise?

The girdle on the last one is thin-very thin; also waiting to hear on eye-cleanliness.

Thanks Strm!

no on the last one unless its going in a bezel, that depth and angles and v-thin == problems.

Ah, that would explain why it''s the only stone I''ve ever seen get an ex for spread on the HCA. So the 1.03 sounds good? Thank you all!
