As soon as I announced my engagement at work, people started sending me ideas... My director sent me the slideshow from the last wedding she was in. It''s on the photographer''s site and the photographer set it to a song that I''m dying for now! I MUST have this song!!! There''s a little link to the band, but that''s his current project... I already bought the ep and the song isn''t on there. It''s not on itunes or anything simple either. I contacted the band again and the manager wants to help but she''s actually never heard the song and now we''re thinking maybe he gave the photographer a copy as a GIFT! So now the manager is contacting the photographer...

anyway, I just wanted to share a little bit of my madness with my fellow BIW! And the wedding is stunning!

She''s an awesome photographer, but she''s in California and we''re getting married in Texas, so we can''t use her, but wow, what great style she has!

I was thinking about the Billy Joel song, but it''s not the same... I thought maybe it was something I could find but his seems to be an original and it''s perfect!

I''m still cracking up here... So that amazing photographer used to go out with the songwriter... they dated for four years and he wrote that song for her as a gift! But she''s willing to share! She told me she''d burn me a copy and mail it to me! How awesome is that?!? I still wish he''d put it up on itunes so I could pay him directly for it, but hey, it''s not published so I guess this is how you get music around. She did ask if I''d booked a photographer, but I already have. If I was in CA, and could afford her, I''d book her in a second! Anybody in CA need a photographer?

I guess I shouldn''t count my chickens before the disc arrives in good condition but I''m amazed at actually being able to pull this off!

I figure now that I''ve located and secured a phantom song, the rest should be easy, right?
