... evacuate all the Palestinians from The Gaza Strip, forcing Arab countries to take them all in,
Not let them all return to their homeland, because America will take possession of it
Remove all unexploded ordinance from what is now a bombed out war zone wasteland,
Level all that prime juicy real estate right on the shore of the Mediterranean sea,
Develop it to be just like Monaco, a billionaire's playground.

What's not to love?
The whole Middle East is going to be just like a basket of kittens.

Well, Okie Dokie, then.

Gosh, I wonder what name will be of the most massive luxurious resort on the most desireable location on the Eastern shore of the Mediterranean?

Yep, typical hare brained idea. Looking to enrich himself and his cronies. Somehow I don’t think the Palestinians would be in favor of this idea. I don’t think an American owned Gaza Strip is what Netanyahu has in mind.

All the while freezing USAID which will cost millions of lives, sounds about “par for the course.”
Pun intended.

I was in France July 4, 2000-something when the world hated us. I made sure not to wear anything with a flag, etc. so I wouldn't have to endure French wrath. I'm going back this fall and things will be worse, I'm sure. Should I just be naked the whole time? :lol-2:
Manifest Destiny is so 1800s. We've really gone back. Ugh!

Madness. This is madness. The world will respond.

Could it be a negotiation tactic? Suggesting something dramatic so that your less dramatic alternative (and the thing that you actually want) now seems reasonable?

The big problem is NONE of the Arab countries will take them in and will never take them in for reasons I cannot discuss here but know that there are good reasons. That is a fact. So where will they go?

Yes that is how he works. Definitely a negotiating tactic. He proposes the incredible/incredulous to get what he wants which is always less crazy

Of course it could be.
I don't think that makes it any less heinous.

So if I hold a knife against your throat while demanding your money and jewels ((but's it's only a bluff (a negotiation tactic) as I actually have no intention of killing you)) does that make the knife against your throat no big deal?
Of course not.

Though it would be nice if the US built an air base in Gaza and name it after Hersh Goldberg-Polin.

Under Scottish law, your holding a knife to my throat would be considered an act of violence and would be chargeable as assault. Making a verbal statement as part of a negotiation tactic is not an act of violence, it doesn't cause immediate physical trauma, dramatic eye-rolling maybe, but I don't believe the two situations are comparable.

Edit for spelling.
