This is my good friend Shadow.

She's about 2 years old. My neighbor rescued her from a kill shelter. She was abused and neglected as a puppy, but she's doing fine now.

Shadow is so sweet! My neighbor just rescued (literally) a 6 month old shephard that apparently someone threw out if the car. They saw what happened, stopped the car, and took the puppy.

LovesVintage, I don't have any dogs - I'm more of a cat lover, but Shadow is such a sweetheart. She got angry at the trash men the other day - she thought they were stealing trash and was barking at them.

I am a german shepherd lover! I can't wait to get another! Our little weenie doesn't like other dogs that much but I am always
looking at the rescue site and wishing I could take them all home with me.
