Thinking of our Whiteflash and Houston area friends...

thoughts and prayers outgoing!!

Ditto...I commented on the other thread but will also add my comment here

Sending lots of dust to those in the path of Hurricane Harvey. We have two vendors in Houston and I'm sure many PSers in that area. Stay safe everyone...

Edit...Oh gosh, just heard its a Cat 4 :eek-2:.

I thought of them today and will surely be thinking of them in the days to come! Best wishes and prayers for their safety and comfort as they ride out this storm!!

Good luck everyone!!!!!

Looks like Houston in inundated with rain - hope you all are continuing to be safe and dry!

I hope everyone is staying safe and dry. I'm thinking of you all.

Continuing to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and may everyone affected remain safe. (((HUGS))).

I was able to leave Dallas on Friday morning.

I hope others in the area remain safe and sound.

Hoping we hear more today. I might email someone there and check on them.

@diamondseeker2006 I don't believe Sugar Land is as bad as other areas but it is very close to the Brazos River and could get worse. Plus it is still raining. No one is out of the woods yet. I am about 10 minutes from whiteflash and we are ok here but it is expected to get worse. Keep the prayers coming please!

Oh wow! I wish we had known you last year when several of us visited WF! You could have joined us!

Thanks for the update, ceg! I had just checked the Sugar Land city website and saw the warnings about the river rising. It sounds like they have a good handle on that and I hope they can manage it. I know there are people in many areas of Houston since it is so huge! So yes, I'll keep on praying for everyone's safety and their homes and property as well! Keep us updated and stay safe!

So scary. Stay safe.
I'm glad you have access to the internet and news.
I can't imagine what its like for the people going through this without communications systems.

Lots of prayers being sent your way.

Continued thoughts...I hope out vendor families and PS families are doing ok. Stay safe!

I just spoke to Brittany from WF. From what she said, I gather everyone is working from their homes today. She told me to hold off shipping my stone to them and that they'd contact me when the office was able to receive deliveries - which will probably be a couple of days, hopefully by the end of the week. So I gather that the weather where they are is bad enough to stop the office from being operational until then.

In the meantime, tho, she said everyone is safe and well and that they're just hanging in there till the bad weather passes.

Howdy everyone!!

Thanks SO much for all your kind words, well wishes, and prayers. Thankfully we are all faring pretty well with all the devastation from Hurricane Harvey. Most of our team is logged in from home and doing what tasks can be done online. (just for giggles, I am in my christmas fox PJ's and I have clown hair. Scary, I know!! )

The office, in Minute Maid building, is pretty much a moat and our beautiful rocks are locked up safe and sound but we can't join them just yet. TOO much flooding in Houston and surrounding areas. Please do be in prayer and good thoughts for those impacted by this storm. It is going to take a long time to recover but Texas is strong and caring, so we will rebuild and be stronger from it. I love seeing every walk of life helping one another, all over this great State of Texas. <3

We look forward to returning to our joy filled duties as soon as weather permits.

Warmest regards,

I just spoke with a friend who lives in the Houston area. He and his wife are safe and sound at her mother's house, but they had to evacuate their own home. He said they expect the rising waters will overtake the levees and flood their home in the next few hours. Thankful they are safe, but so sad for them and everyone affected. :( They ask that everyone continue to pray for the city of Houston.

Yes, I had emailed Becca today and she said that those that had electricity were working from home. Hope how soon they can get back to some kind of normalcy - I can only imagine how difficult it is there for so many.

So relieved to hear everyone at WF is safe and sound!!! Please keep the updates coming...our thoughts and prayers are with everyone there!

@Vera W Vera! Thank you so much for checking in!!! Glad you are all safe! And that's great you can work in your Christmas jammies!:appl::lol:

I also had an email from Sheerah who said she had gone our of town for a family funeral and can't get back home yet. But her hubby is one of the brave firefighters involved in rescuing people! We definitely need to remember to pray for their safety, too!

Thanks Vera for checking in. It's good to hear everyone is safe and sound.

It's during times like these that I am so grateful to be connected to our gem friends in more ways than just one. So far, everyone I have checked with from PS is hanging in. It's tough going for a lot of our friends, but they're being strong and hanging in.

Ms. Vera, I'm so relieved that you, your family and your new home are OK.

So happy to hear you are all safe!!! Thanks for checking in Vera!

Thank you for checking in with everyone here Vera. I'm relieved to know everyone is doing well under these terrible circumstances. Our hears are with everyone in the Houston area.

@Vera W , its a relief to hear from you and others who are dealing with this devastation.
Thank you for checking in and letting us know you're all OK and managing.
Your Christmas pj's comment made me laugh!
Humour and faith can conquer a lot.
As you said, its wonderful seeing everyone help each other. Harvey is no match for the State of Texas!

Sending continuous thoughts and prayers.

I don't know if you all saw it, but Brian posted on instagram that his home was safe and the homes of his kids weren't hit by the flooding as of yesterday. Continued prayer for all of Houston.

I have been watching the news and it awful ! The south is drowning and the west is on fire .. :eek2: . I hope everyone can stay safe .

Thank you everyone for your concerns and for sending positive energy our way. Other than the trauma of a couple of us having flooded homes, it appears we all survived the worst of it. Most were able to get into the office yesterday for the first time and we hope to be at full strength by next Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there are some delays to orders going out and new orders may experience some delays as well. Everyone has been very understanding so far, but we realize that many of our customers have important deadlines so we will be working hard to maintain our delivery promises. Because so many businesses are disrupted, such as Fed Ex in a big way, some things will be difficult for Whiteflash to control. But we are pursuing delivery workarounds wherever possible. We are prioritizing orders with hard dates and asking for some leeway from customers who can be flexible. Together we will manage.

This has been a rough several days and continues to be a very difficult time for Houston and the the Gulf Coast. But we are inspired and uplifted by the support we are receiving from our wonderful friends in the Pricescope community. On behalf of everyone at Whiteflash, I would like to express our sincere appreciation.

I ditto Bonfire - your willingness to accommodate your customers under harsh circumstances is commendable - but not at all surprising!!
