Thinking about this Tiffany wedding band

I'm still trying to decide what direction to go with my new wedding band to wear with my engagement ring reset. Lately I've been drawn to the Tiffany channel set wedding bands with the Lucida cut diamonds. I don't think these are sold in stores anymore? I have seen several for sale on resale sites (ebay, 1stdibs, Etsy), and I'm always up for a bargain.

My main question is, will it look like any other channel set princess cut wedding band? I like the idea of a wedding band set with something a little more unique.

Thanks!

Hi! I have seen the Lucida wedding band when they first came out. I would say it has a bit more metal on the band edges than the classic round channel set.

If you like square cuts in a channel setting, how about the baguettes? I think this is very clean and pretty. There is also a princess cut version, but if your diamond e-ring is round, I prefer the baguettes over the princess as it does not compete with the round.

Just my two cents... hope this helps.

Like Miki Moto, I saw the Lucida wedding bands store shortly after they were introduced, at the 5th Avenue flagship store. I thought the small Lucidas were shown off to better advantage in the band that had 3-4 spaced across the top & gypsy-set -- like this one:

I seem to remember thinking you would have to spring for the channel set band in the widest width offered (and therefore with bigger Lucidas) in order to see that the stones were not ordinary ones.

My engagement ring is an oval with tapered french cuts down the band. I think a round wedding band won't look right.

My previous wedding band, which I still love, is channel set with alternating princess and baguette diamonds. I can't resize it anymore, and it's too small. I'm kind of weird, but I want something different because that one is so special to me.
I've been looking for an antique band, but I haven't seen anything with the bling I want so far. I thought an asscher band would look nice, but I worry it won't have the sparkle I'm looking for.

I agree with this; I was looking at a band that is 5mm wide, a half circle with over a carat of Lucida diamonds.

I wish I could see one in person so I could compare it to a princess band and see which one has more sparkle and a pleasing look to my eye.

I don't know if this is the same band you're eyeing, but it is one of the 5 mm ones -- and this eBay vendor has a 30-day return policy:

Same vendor is also offering a full eternity Lucida band:

I purchased a piece from this vendor several years ago & was pleased : - )
