Tble 56
Crwn 34.4
Pav 40.9
Grdl .9-1.2
Fluo I

Full Price, which is $200 more than Broker''s price is $1794.87. This price includes the Brilliance Scope, Isee 2, H&A images, Lightscope, microscope, and Sarin W/3d model.

Am I getting the price that I should be getting?

Does anyone know of an appraiser in the St. Louis, Mo or Springfield, IL area?
Thanks, m82

Great HCA rating! 1.4 TIC, ex/ex/vg/ex. And sooooo round!

Price Scope Vendors average $1540 for a similar diamond. Soooo price is close.

Sadly, us folk in fly-over country don't have an approved PS appraiser available.

(Kansas City area here.) You might try the one in Chicago or have the diamond sent to Dave Atlas or Roc Doc.

If you found this one locally, you have done well! That's a saavy local jeweler/diamond broker!

Beautiful proportions in that stone, nice price for a B&M. I'd have it sent off to Dave Atlas for appraisal. What's the Cert? AGS?

The diamond is an AGS. Found it with one of this sites vendors. Not going to name which one yet (I dont want it to go away yet)!

Is the markup for the tests worth the 200 extra to make the total around 1700?

I also jsut looked at the price for appraisal. Wow. How safe would it be to not have it appraised and take the vendors word for it?

Thanks for everyones input!

If you are indeed getting all that info and feel comfortable in being able to verify that the diamond is indeed the documented diamond by yourself then you can bypass the appraisal (except for insurance reasons).

The associated vendors are trustworthy, the appraisal will only for your peace of mind (shipping mistakes may happen albeit slim chance to none). So.. how much peace of mind do you want????

Nice one! That diamond definitely sounds like a keeper. I also would recommend Dave Atlas. He's the man! If you are considering purchasing the diamond without a previous inspection than make sure that the company is offering you a period of inspection time or return policy for the diamond. That way you can take it to an appraiser during that period of time to be inspected. Looks like a good deal though.
