Marcy~ You''re right, the size difference would be so small, I wouldn''t want to spend the extra $$ for a fraction of size.

I''m leaning towards the better color stones because I''m afraid the yellow gold would really make those H''s look yellow, especially dangling. The 3 sets of earrings I had made into danglies look very white when they''re straight on (they''re low color, btw) but as soon as they start moving, I notice a lot of color.

Thanks, Somethingshiny. My ering is an E and I am pretty color sensitive. I really like the idea of getting the H&A. I can turn in my old wrings and get credit towards new diamonds but they don''t sell ideal cuts under 1/2 ct at that store. I can get larger diamonds but at best would only get a very good cut stone. I am going to look tomorrow and see the difference between the .32 ct and .38 ct.

I think that pair of Gs looks good!

I mean, obviously all of them are going to be great, but the Gs would save some money and still look great.

That is what I''m thinking too. I could probably afford about 1/2 cts if I trade in my old wedding rings. Skippy mentioned sapphires - they would look great in dangles too. Decisions, decisions.

WOO-HOO, Marcy! Can't WAIT to see you in a pair of these, too! You KNOW I'm a fan!

Honestly, I wouldn't worry at all about the yellow gold making the stones appear yellow. As you know, mine are .75 each, and they are H stones set in yellow as well.

All anyone EVER comments on is how blindingly sparkly they are.

Alj, your earrings are gorgeous. I am all over the place. I might hold out until I can get larger carat weight. I''ll see what I think of .33 carat size tomorrow.

Thanks Skippy and Lorelei. I hope DH thinks so too as I did get both. I will post pictures after I pick them up Sunday.

The ring: YG, channel set 8 diamonds .36 ctw and the sapphire: RB royal blue .91 and GORGEOUS if I say so myself

Earrings: strange combo but looked okay to me - both very good cut, .43 G and .44 I - both I1 but I coudln''t see anything from 12 inches or so.

I can hardly wait.
