The two week club!

joining the club here. Been waiting for my ACA e-ring for over a month now. It took us weeks to finally decide on going for WF ACA instead of a designer brand or other merchants. I am based in the U.K. so this is the most expensive online purchase we ever made (or my bf has made :p ). Then 4 weeks for the ACA to come back (as I wanted something between 1.4 to just below 1.5ct and H colour. Boy was I lucky there was one that wasn’t snatched up yet). Now it’s been in production for over a week. Decided to go with Vatche for the ACA.

My partner has been kind enough to also purchase a lab grown princess cut ring for me (also from WF) cos I am really into princess cuts but I didn’t want that to be my e ring.

So I have been waiting for two rings to be ready by end of the month. Then comes the wait for international delivery and customs clearance (we are picking it up on holiday)! Luckily Trump has served us a major distraction but I still couldn’t help but worry constantly about sizing (I used my own ring sizer and Becca agreed with me on the specific size and diameter), if the ring will be made well, what if I need to send it back for any modifications, would I like the stone etc

I just want the wait to finish and get my beautiful rings so I can stop thinking about rings

Thanks I went with U113 - the Tiffany repo setting. Some might say it’s basic but I wanted something timeless. I’m so excited!

Agree that texting is the best way to communicate with her, and you’ll need to be patient throughout the process - but she’s my very favorite designer and worth the wait in my opinion!

Thanks! She responded and am waiting on another reply. Pretty simple project, just one of her cool settings she has done in the past. Once I’ve paid, no need for constant updates. If this goes well, might do something more complicated with her in the future. The thing that tugs at my mind is there is a gemstone I am thinking about that if there is no reply from cvb, then I would spend the money on the gemstone.

I was wondering if it was pre-loved as there is some discolouration on the basket in one image. But it’s stunning! I hope it is as nice in person! Someone mentioned that TRR pictures are often over saturated for colored gems.

It needs some TLC for sure. It’s not from TRR but it is preloved. The listing was measure in inches LOL - seller knew nothing about it. It’s lively and appears to be well cut, a tiny bit of extinction but overall pretty even open color

It had a video which I think is more accurate color, iPhone cameras love blue in general and saturate them

I’d also suspect Leon mege to not pick a totally tragic sapphire but I’ll find out Irl
