First of all, I want to say that I am a very lucky girl to be engaged to one who truly is my better half. He was gracious enough to let me pick out the engagement ring, and I picked one that I know will be just as beautiful to us 50 years from now as it is to us today.

Brian and Celina at Whiteflash were so patient and understanding with me. I am very grateful to them for their help, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone out there who is looking for something special. If only I had someone like them to help with the wedding planning!

I would also like to thank everyone who read and/or gave me feedback on my posts to the board. You were so helpful so many times.

The diamond melee consists of ACA G and F, VS

It looks really big on my finger as I have small hands, but it only took me about a day to get used to it

Do you know the width of your band and halo? I just wrapped up the CAD process with WF but want to get an idea of how the final product will look (which I will not see until he proposes!!!).

It is very similar to what I''m getting! I would like to have my band and halo thinner however. I wish I knew the mm of yours so I could let WF know. As it stands, they say it will be anywhere from 2-2.5mm...that''s a big gap! I wear a ring now that is 2mm, I don''t think I want to go higher than 2.3

Moonwater,

I measured it. The width of the halo is about 1/4 of an inch. I have thin fingers and it doesn't look too big. The band also looks thin compared to the halo, and manages to look delicate as it is. From the info, I think the band is 2.2 mm. I needed something delicate-looking but not too delicate that it would be easy to damage. I'm a bit of a klutz, and would be worried I'd chip it. That's why I didn't do the micropave all the way around the band.
