Hi Everyone,

Here are some photos of the ring that I prepare to give to my girlfriend.

Stone:
Round
1.24 carat
G
SI1
EX/EX/EX

Setting:
Tacori 2535 rd

I used my DSLR + 50mm + extension tube for the photos. It really shows all the details of the work done by Tacori. I am completely satisfied with the ring.

I believe the 2535 setting is not very popular at all. The authorized dealer I went to told me that they've sent out no more than 5 orders in the last 7 years. The 2620 on the other hand, they order maybe 6 or 7 a week.

I hope these photos will help out anyone out there who's interested in the 2535 setting. I could not find a single real life photo of this setting while I was doing my research. All I could find were the photos on the Tacori website, which I feel is rather poor.

I am extremely happy with the ring. The only complaint I have is the quality of the Tacori boxes. I feel I deserve a better box for the money I paid. It's essentially made out of paper.

It is beautiful and those pictures are great. Can't wait for some handshots.. Congrats!

well that is quite stunning!! she will be thrilled!!

I am very surprised that this isn't a more popular setting it is so beautiful. The milligrain is so delicate and beautiful and i love that pave prongs. If you get a chance I would love to see a picture from the top and one a little further away to get a little real life perspective.

what are your proposal plans?

I'm not trying to be nosy but you know us pricescopers we love out details and our pictures!! :cheeky:

I don't have a concrete plan yet. We're going on a cruise during Christmas holidays, and I was thinking I could propose to her then. However, now that I got the ring, I just cant wait to give it to her.

I'll have some top down shots up in a few hours. I'm surprised by how well these photos turned out! The ten dollar DSLR extension tube I purchased online was definitely worth it.

Beautiful ring! I'm also surprised it is not more popular...it is such a classic style. Love the milgrain on the prongs.

What a fantastic setting! I'm surprised that it's not very popular, I think it's sleek and stunning! ::)

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! I love the detail on the prongs, amazing!! :appl:

some top down photos. I'm paranoid about the rock falling out at some point. With eight prongs, several of them will have to become lose before the unthinkable happens lol.

I don't think we'll be getting hand shots anytime soon :P Still planning.

Beautiful ring!!! And don't hold onto it for too long! She'll be so thrilled to wear it and be engaged!

  Amazingly beautiful!  Thanks for sharing all the pictures. Your girlfriend is going to love it! :appl:

I am LOVING your setting. The eight prong head is gorgeous! I want an eight prong head!!!!! It is the perfect surroundings for your lovely diamond!

What size are the little diamonds going up the sides of the prongs?
What is the table size of your stone?

I'm not sure... they're either 0.16 carat or 0.08. I'm not sure if 0.16 is the weight of each of them, or both together. What do you think?

Here's the info on the small side diamonds according to my appraisal:
Carat weight: 0.16 (each or together?)
Clarity: VS-1
Colour: F/G (so this is pretty clear that one is F, and one is G)
Cut: Very Good.

Info on Centre stone: 1.24 carat based on GIA cert:
Depth: 61.5%
Table: 57%
Crown: 35%
Pavilion: 40.8
Cutlet: 0

What do you think? I got my mom to wear it into Tiffany's so I can compare mine side by side. I feel my diamond looks just as great. Although the lighting in Tiffany's is like magic. My ring looks about 1000 times better in there then it does at home lol.

oops. sorry. I thought you were talking about the side stones.
I have no idea what the size of the tiny diamonds are. Tacori described them as "beautifying diamonds". They're barely visible unless exposed the light.

Lovely details.

Beautiful twist on a classic setting. I hope she wears it in good health and that she falls in love with it on sight.

This ring is GORGEOUS - love all the prongs & the low-set sidestones!
