This one has been confusing the heck out of me as well - so thanks for asking Fisher!Date: 8/31/2008 8:51:09 PM

It doesn''t matter if you don''t have watery, many women don''t. Most women don''t get all thr types, al lthat is important is that you know your pattern and that you have one of the types of fertile fluid durign the fertile phase. EWCF is the most important type since it is the most fertile and the most nourishing to sperm, but many women also get preggo without it and with only having watery. And BTW the only real way to know that you have watery is soaked panties. Yes, TMI, but watery is as you pointed out...watery...and so it will leave a big round wet patch on the good ol'' panties. Fertile CF tends to make a rounded wet patch in panties, whereas non-fertile fluid will leave white streaks. There, once again, more than you ever wanted to know.![]()
Estrogen also starts to fall in the middle of the luteal phase, so that could cause your migraine (this dip is responsible for the supposed "implantation dip" in temps that can accompany pregnancy)... but this type of dip is associated with higher overall levels of estrogen I believe, so it is a good thing. It perks up again a day or so later. ETA oops, thought you meant you got a migrain in your LP... ignore that information, though it could still hols. And FF always gives dotted lines if you enter any fertility signs post-ovulation, including watery CF. Don't worry about it, it is a dumb program really and can't handle the nuances.Date: 9/1/2008 6:50:03 AM

I seem to have had watery for the last 2 days - currently 6DPO. The minute I put it into FF, it changes my crosshairs etc to dotted lines as it sees it as fertile CM...
However, I'm 99% certain that I O'd on the right day. I got a migraine the day before (any drop in oestrogen levels will bring one on) and my temps/CM all look correct - plus I have never had a cycle longer than 28 days in my life.
My pg cycle was like this too... just tonnes of it! And since you want this cycle to turn out different than your others (in the long run I mean), then I think it being different could be a great thing! All the difference you point out are signs of high estrogen, which is a good good thing!Date: 8/31/2008 10:44:28 PM

Well, if it isn't the norm for you, it can be a pregnancy sign! Here's hoping, since usually it should only happen around ovulation. NOTE: some women get watery CF before their period which is their uterine lining starting to break down. Here's hoping it's estrogen for you though!
To be honest, I remember the last couple of pregnancies having creamy CM. But I've had a 'mix' the past week. TMI, but I've just noticed a lot of CM. I don't know what to think this cycle! I shall know soon enough, I guess- AF is due Wednesday, and if she doesn't show, I'll test.
Oh joy, so I could get ANOTHER migraine! I can hardly wait...Date: 9/1/2008 10:07:16 AM

we just got back from the ocean (why can't i live closer to the ocean) and it was a perfect week. I was in desperate need of a vacation and a swim

LL, I have my fingers and toes crossed for you!!!!
Sorry to post the same exact question twice, but my husband is driving me batty with this TWW!! He keeps telling me he wants to know whether I''m pregnant and that I should take a test now (I''m only 5DPO, but I have a 35-day cycle so the wait seems longer). I think I would be happy to wait until 14DPO because if I have a realllly faint line I don''t want to get my hopes up, but I have this pesky ob/gyn appointment on 8DPO.
I think if I find out that I''m pregnant before then and call the office, they''ll probably ask me to reschedule until I''m 10 weeks, and I''d really like to meet this person before that, in case we don''t click. I guess that I could just tell her that we''re trying and bring my chart? I wonder if they''d test me there. I''m confused! Thanks for any feedback you might have.
Sure, test at 8DPO if you feel like it, why not? But it will probably be a BFN because it is so early, whether or not you are actually pregnant. Personally I''d just wait. Tel lthe doc you are trying and tal kabout your chart if you want. The docs use the same tests we use, they aren''t any more sensitive, so they won''t be able to tell either, probably. But if it will ease your mind, go ahead and test!Date: 9/1/2008 12:22:41 PM

Oh I know guys, I''m not going to test now!DH keeps begging me to test, and I feel like I''m being mean by not testing or something. He rationally knows that I couldn''t have a positive at this point; he''s just being inpatient. The only way that it would be positive though was if I was way off with my ovulation dates. I''m just trying to figure out whether to test on the morning on my appt (8DPO), just in case. I think I''d rather find out on my own instead of from someone I don''t really know (if case she does test and I get a BFN). However, either way it probably wouldn''t be a big deal since I''d be SO happy.![]()
I''m also confused about something. The pregnancy tests that I have (link here: http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/pregnancytests.html) say that I could potentially get a positive result ''six to eight days after conception'' and they also say ''you may begin testing as early as 7-10 DPO.'' However, don''t ovulation and conception usually happen on around the same day, assuming one has sperm waiting around? Or does the egg need to travel a bit before the sperm reach it? I guess that I should brush up on my reproductive biology, hehe.
I have noticed that this seems to be the norm when TTC. The first month everyone, my included!, feels so excited and thinks it will totally happen, and then if it doesn''t, or when it doesn''t since only about 1 in 5 will actually get KTFU their first month trying, then the next months people become much more zen/negative/cautious about the whole thing!Date: 9/1/2008 10:20:06 AM

Compared with last month I''m feeling much more ''normal'' this time. No phantom pg symptoms at all. Can''t decide if that is good or bad! I think last month I was overly enamoured with the idea of a honeymoon baby and felt a lot more stressed about it all. This month I''m more in a ''if it happens it happens'' frame of mind.

Quick question regarding implantation dips... how much do your temps need to dip to resemble an implantation dip? Is it below the coverline?
False negatives. Tryreading the past 5 days of this thread, I think that''s where people were talking about it.Date: 9/1/2008 1:58:48 PM

Thanks for the advice! Are people getting false positives or false negatives with the early pregnancy tests? That''s too bad. Their ovulation kits worked well for me. I mostly bought the pregnancy tests because they''re so cheap.![]()
So a temp change from 98.15 yesterday to 97.98 today is probably too small a dip to count as a possible implantation dip?Date: 9/1/2008 2:15:44 PM

I think it is a dip of 2/10th F that lasts for only 1 day... I had one at 5DPO, which would have been the middle of my LP, and I went from 36.6 to 36.4 (at the cover line) and then up to 36.75 after.
Thanks Indy - hmm, not so sure about the ''young'' thing! At least not in TTC terms anyway...Date: 9/1/2008 3:42:31 PM

Pandora, compared to the rest of your chart, it looks too small to be an implantation dip, but most prego women don''t get them anyway! Plus, see what happens tomorrow.
And yes, your chart looks lovely! Classic! Scrumptious! Excellent! You look like a seriously ovulatory young woman.
