Cuteness overload!!!!

Do they have different colored eyes? K''s eyes look a little bluer but I don''t know if that is the camera or not...

Thank you! They do - Kipling has blue eyes and Dante''s is green. It''s pretty noticeable in person. I think blue eyes are more common in snow bengals rather than brown ones, but the kittens'' dad is a snow so I think that''s why Kipling''s eyes are blue as well.
BEG - Our kittens'' mom was a snow! When they were very little they both had blue eyes. As they got older, one had green and the other one''s eyes were more amber. Now they both look green to me. They just get more beautiful by the day don''t they?
1.gif

I''m also finding that the older they get, the more they like the water.

You''re lucky there is such a size difference between the two - that has to make it much easer to tell them apart! Ours usually weigh 1/2 lb. apart, but last time we checked they were the same exact size. Although the one that looks bigger is the one that normally weighs less!

Like, you we have a problem with one stealing the other''s food. He eats his wet food twice as fast and then just goes over and helps himself to his brother''s food. Now I stay with them and remove the ''pig'' so Dino can finish his food!

Love the new batch of pics - keep posting more when you can!

Oh goodness! I just came back to the thread to post more pics and realized I never saw your post, LV! I''m so sorry!

Do you have pics of your boys'' parents? I need to go hunt up the ones I have of K & D''s parents!

So we took them to the vet today for their neuter. Dante''s was easy and he''s perfectly fine now, albeit hungry and tired since we were only allowed to give him a small meal tonight. Unfortunately, Kipling''s neuter was much more complicated due to an undistended testicle so his surgery was more intensive and longer, and my poor boy is still groggy from the sedation.
7.gif
But the vet weighed them and said Kipling was 10 lbs and Dante was 9 lbs - though I have a hard time believing that Dante is actually 9 lbs! He''s still 2/3 of Kipling''s size and feels much lighter in my arms. But the two of them together in a carrier - VERY heavy! Good thing I had BF carrying them to the vet and back
3.gif

Here are a few more pics. Dante has discovered the joy of getting onto the top of the cabinets, fridge and walking along the wine rack, which freaks me out but I can''t stop him! Here''s a couple of him up there.
I never saw this post - I was wondered if you ever posted new pics! I had traveled to Florida for a funeral and got stuck FOREVER during the "two blizzards in one week in Maryland!" Not fun...

Love the new pics and can''t believe how big they''ve gotten already! Interesting to see that their bellies got darker as they''ve gotten older because the same thing happened with both of my boys.

They are beautiful!!!

I know I say this every time I see new pictures, but I love them. They have BIG personalities, don''t they? Those are great pictures, BEG!

Thanks Zoe! They ARE big personalities. I told BF that when they''re being cute, they are REALLY cute, and when they''re being obnoxious...well they don''t do things in halves

Hey LV! Oh no, blizzards (and funerals) are not fun. Sorry to hear about both!

Yup no more white bellies. Both still have white chins though - Kipling''s is more prominent however. How are you boys and any new pics of them?

Hi BEG...here is one pic of my two kitties together. The Bengal is named Stella and the Aby is named Penny. They are both female.

Oooh Penny looks just like my boy Murphy!

murphy hh 2.jpg

Wow his eyes look funny there. They''re not two colored, just amber.

BEG, your boys are SO cute and I can''t believe how much they''ve grown!

So excited, new kitten pictures. I love them like they were my own. I looked through all the new ones and my favorite was the one where, I cant remember now who, had fallen out of bed and taken the bed down with him. All you could see was belly and hind legs. I giggled out loud. Then I saw the one where one is onery and the other is the lookout. That is hilarious! Clearly there was a plan in place there. Anyone who says that cats dont plan assaults needs to see that picture.

As always a delight to see the boys.

What lovely boys. It is interesting. I have heard of nothing but problems with savannahs, and nothing but good things about bengals, I suspect leopard cats are much more mellow. I was thinking in the future getting an Egyptian Mau who have a lot of the fun aspects and have a similiar look, but are a little smaller and less destructive.
Mine are just strays, but my boy is pure white and all muscle and everyone thinks he is about the most beautiful thing.
I can''t wait to show this thread to my DH when I get home, his head with explode with cuteness

SDL, I remember Brutus! Do you have pictures?

B.E.G., how do you keep your place so clean with the kitties? We''ve given up tiding our clips, plastic bags, pens, pins, screws...

BEG, love the new photos! So cute! They must be so entertaining to watch. I love the sleeping photos. They look so sweet and innocent - but I know better... kittens=trouble. And in your case double trouble! LOL

Thanks RQ! I''m glad you liked the pictures! I was lucky that I had my phone right next to me for the bed picture - it was hilarious. I just looked over and there he was, sound asleep under the bed

Aww thanks BIH! I think most of the problem with Savannahs and Bengals are that they''re too smart for their own good - lots of mischief caused due to too much time and too much creativity
3.gif
Thankfully, I think my kittens, while not being dummies, aren''t the smartest examples of Bengals. If they were, I don''t think I''d have an apartment to go back home to. Of course, their antics while I was away on spring break (opening the freezer and hauling all the frozen goods out and creating a holy mess) do leave me worried....

Then again, it''s taken them 6 months to learn how to drink from the sink faucet without snorting water up their nose so...

You have two gorgeous boys. I adopted two males from different litters, and they are almost five now and still best buddies. I just wanted to let you know my Knightley has a toilet paper fetish too, so I have resorted to using this device:

http://www.amazon.com/Safety-1st-SAF-48413-Toilet-Paper/dp/B0014WQWDC

It works wonders :)

Thanks for the link MP! Unfortunately, Dante likes to use the toilet paper roll as a scratching post....arrrgh. I''ve taken to hiding the toilet paper under the sink and getting it out only when I use the bathroom. I''ve been hiding the paper towels in the kitchen cabinets for a few months now too. I''m afraid to think of what they''ll think of next.

And I would LOVE to see pics of your boys!!

I don''t know if any of you remember when I found Brutus.. but.. my girlfriend/co-worker still just loves him and he''s grown so much over the past year. I can''t believe its been so long already
7.gif
I still miss that fuzzball. He is an awesome mouser and brings my friend gifts alllllllll the time.
16.gif

You should go visit him. of course I remember Brutus - it was that thread that led to me getting Kipling and Dante. I''d never heard of Bengals before then, and I was still looking at supposedly hypoallergenic Siberians at that point!

Aggggh I don''t know if it''s CLEAN per se....hahaha. Um, I hide EVERYTHING. Pens, plastic bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. And our bedroom is the one room the cats can''t go in...because everything breakable, small, and fragile are hidden there. Our kitchen counters are super neat because nothing is on them!

Dante does the cutest thing - when he''s lying down and you go to pet him, he rolls over onto his back like a dog so you can scratch his tummy

Awwww, that''s so cute that Dante rolls over on his back! Zoe does that when we''re up late in our office and she wants to go to bed. I''ll look over at her and she looks exactly like Dante in the pic you posted. She looks at me upside down with her front paws curled up and makes these squeaks and whines like... c''mon mom, time for bed! LOL It''s so cute when cats do that! They''re bellies are so soft!

Our kitties are getting sun drunk right now. I wondered why it was so quiet for the last hour. heheh

I just moved the kittens'' cat tree to next to the window today. The kittens pretty much live on the window ledge during daylight now that the weather''s getting nicer and we actually see the sun!

Zoe is so cute! My mom''s old dog, Cocoa, did the same thing - the "Mom, it''s time for BED!" routine

What a gorgeous boy he was! He reminds me of our Ghengis (bengal boy) that we had to put down about 5 months ago.
