Thank you SO MUCH to those who have helped me over the past few weeks. Because of your help, my boyfriend and I feel so much more confident in our hunt for the perfect diamond. When we first started, we were fixed on finding the biggest GIA XXX possible in our budget. After walking away from a 2.4 GIA XXX steep/deep stone, we took your advice and purchased a 2.08 super ideal cut H&A stone. While we have fallen deeply in love with its sparkle and feel good about it's size - it is the warmest J we have ever seen (it actually looks like a fancy yellow stone in some lighting!) and must be returned :(

While we love the mind-clean aspect of a branded cut stone, from my search it does not appear that we will be able to get this in our budget. We also are super afraid of buying another J color - but of course, if there is a great stone that appears to be a high J w/ great photos/videos from a reliable vendor we will consider. (There is a BG Blue stone available, but as we are not big on fluorescence and it is still a J color - we are not sure about it. Thoughts? )

I do have a list of a few stones that have been recommended to me on here and am awaiting idealscope images, but as we have decided to increase the budget to ~16,500 - I wanted to post a formal request for help finding a stone and appreciate your recommendations.

Goal: 2+ carat, I+ color, eye clean, best cut possible, below $17,000. We are ready to buy ASAP.

THANK YOU, PS!

Thanks!

I think this looks okay to, right? Is H w/ medium florescence okay? Adiamor says no additional images available.

I would avoid simply because of the knot in the middle of the table. Knots are essentially crystals that reach the surface. And if the knot gets knocked out (which is always a possibility with knots) then you have a cavity in the middle of the table. Not a very nice inclusion to have.
