#TBT Tenth Anniversary upgrade; 3ct Round with Cushion Halo

Hi everybody, I've been lurking here for about a couple of months now to educate ourselves and make the right purchase for our 10th anniversary upgrade.
Final result, I'm extremely happy! Our jeweler did a fantastic job. Keep in mind that we're moving up from a humble 1.25ct round solitaire. We've moved up to a 3ct F-VS2 now with a cushion halo and the size difference is night and day to me. One thing that really bugged me on my old ring was the gold... I hated the yellowing. I would take it to a jeweler to be re-polished once every couple of years or so. Anyway, doing the research, I learned that platinum doesn't have this problem and that's what our ring is made out of.
I took a few dozen pics last night but only 3 of them came out right lol. I'll ry to take some outdoor shots or something today.

When I read somthing like this I feel cheap with my 1.08 OEC.

One persons humble stone is another ones lifetime upgrade. If that is going to make you feel bad, stci, then girl you are in the
wrong place!!!!! Just enjoy yours for the beauty it is, and drool over everyone else's as well!

I'm just really happy with the quality of the ring. It took me about 2 weeks to select somebody, we live in Brentwood (LA) and found a local designer from the precious platinum website (great website btw).
Here are two more and I think I'm done unless somebody wants to make a request.
