This is the first
Cheap on eBay but I actually like it
Funny how cheap jewelry gets worn the most sometimes

Anyway no hallmark sold as sterling
It’s passed all the tests I can do at home
Magnet heat smell etc
I will do an acid test when I can get some

But it just doesn’t quite have the look especially inside as sterling
The front does and back for sure

Also the design seems to be popular I’ve found it on several sites online in prices ranging from $50-200.
So I’m wondering if it’s an old popular design that’s been reproduced?
The designs online are identical though some on the sites mentioned those are hallmarks so I wonder why mine is not

Any ideas

I’m inclined to think it’s a modern reproduction of the Victorian style. The top hole, for a jump link to connect to a chain, just doesn’t look period correct.
And not sure if it’s sterling silver, many of the reproduced pieces are just nickel silver.
All that aside, who cares! You love the look and it didn’t break the bank.
