Tanzanite + diamonds = nice

Just thought I would share this ring with everyone here because I know we all love to see pictures.
A tan from Tan and a LOGR setting. It's a 1.5ct VVS tanzanite. The diamonds are SI1-SI2
I think it turned out nice with the color combination. I love how this tanzanite is cut even though it has some windowing. It's like an emerald cut but is modified and I really like the facet pattern when you're looking straight through the table. Now lets hope it will fit her finger because I just found out that her right hand's ring finger is larger than her left....
I would have liked to have the tanzanite sit lower to the halo but the jeweler said that's as low as he could make it. It still looks good imo so we'll wait to see what the lady thinks about it.

Let the young lady know that tanzanite is soft and she needs to be vigilant in her care of the ring. Even the most careful wear can result in small scuffs that accumulate over time to dull the stone significantly.

Thanks everyone. I know about tanzanite being soft so I will definitely let her know of it. This ring was inspired by cushioncutnut, a member on here which has a blue sapphire in a split shank halo setting as her avatar.
