Talk about ending up in the opposite direction!!

So I just wanted to give everyone an update on the diamond I actually ended up with! When I made my first post I was on the fence about the Hearts on Fire diamond I had put a deposit down on because of the clarity rating being made by clouds on the table. While I never saw them myself I could not shake the idea that what if after having it set in my ring I would always look for it and if I did find it feel like I wasted all of the money I paid for it ($12,000!!!). So after lots of looking around at all of the beautiful rings here I started emailing David at Good Old Gold about August Vintage rounds. My dream diamond will be delivered on Thursday!!! I can not wait for my rings to come in from Tacori and have this beauty set! Let me know opinions thank you everyone!

Thank you diamondseeker and gypsy for responding. My Tacori engagement and and wedding rings are supposed to be in around the 19th so I will be waiting impatiently until then. When I get the diamond in I am going to try to post some good pics of it. Diamondseeker, your ring was one of the ones I looked at that made me fall in love with this cut.

Thank you bright ice and Evangeline! This style cut was such a hard sell to my husband who would always pick a hearts and arrows stone if I gave him two diamonds to choose from, until he saw a good old gold video comparing a hearts and arrows to an august vintage round. The movement got him thank goodness! He was dead set at keeping the hearts on fire and paying thousands more for the convenience of staying in one jewelry store, so glad I changed his mind. I am so excited for Thursday I can hardly stand it

I am absolutely in LOVE with this diamond!!!! Please forgive the horrible iPhone pictures, these are the only ones I could get that you could sorta make out anything other than a big white circle lol. It's is in the mock setting that Good Old Gold shipped it in, still waiting for my Tacori set to come in. I have the August Vintage bug! I am already planning my next ring. I'm thinking of replacing the 3 center diamonds in my original wedding ring (seen in second picture) with either 3 August Vintage rounds or seeing if I can get the prongs modified for a August Vintage cushion center diamond with rounds on the sides. Opinions on this welcome! I will post an updated pic when my wedding set is together. Thanks again everyone.
