I'm patiently waiting for my Tacori ring. We placed order on Sept 3 and still waiting for it to be delivered. Anyone else in a similar situation? We've been told around 4 weeks and it's over 4 weeks now... can't wait!

I can't wait to see pictures!!! I bet you are SO EXCITED!!! I looooove Tacori! :naughty:

hey jenc! i'm not waiting for a tacori but certainly waiting! i'm happy to be your non-twin ring waiting buddy :) mine is supposed to be ready by friday, and i should receive it as early as sunday and as late as wednesday. who knows, maybe your ring will be ready too and we'll both have pictures to share! :)) what model tacori did you get? i love them all, they're so beautiful

I waited mine for around 4 weeks. Then I waited for 10 days when i have to have it resized. I can't wait to see your tacori.

Mine was being made for 6 weeks....they gave us a 4-6 week range.

I finally got a call back from the store about my ring last Friday but when I got there, the side of the ring is crooked! There's a pretty big bulge on one of the sides, so we have to ship it back to Tacori to fix it. Now I have to do more waiting. They told me 7-10 days, but since it took me longer to get the ring in the first place, I'm not hopeful that I will get it back in 2 weeks.

Oh no that's terrible! I hope you don't have to wait too long (again!).

I am waiting too... but just for a call back from the concierge! I like two of their rings and want to see if I can morph them.

We will look forward to seeing your finished beauty!

Aww, I'm so sorry! At least it's getting fixed and I'm sure it will be perfect when you get it. I can't wait to see it!

Have more unfortunate news. The "fix" to my ring requires major rework so they need to build the ring from scratch. It won't be ready for at least another 2 weeks. It's almost 2 months and still no ring.
I'm disappointed about the wait the fact that quality of the ring was not quite what I expected, especially considering how expensive the ring is. Tacori really needs to have a better quality control process.

I am sorry about that. My ring had to send it back to tacori because the local goldsmith set my diamond crooked. I didn't get mine back until 4 weeks later. I was hoping they would make me a new one. they didnt, but the result was like new. Trust me, when you get it back, you will be very happy with it. Did you try the ring? I have problems with the ring size. My ring was sized up from 4.25 to 4.5. My size is 4.5. However, it still feels a bit snug at 4.5. Probably gonna have it size up to 4.75 when I order my tacori I don't know if tacori ring sizes are small or what.

What a pretty setting Jenc8866! I got the similar style without the sidestones.
I think Tacori need to improve on their process as well. Mine took 6 weeks because they sent the wrong ring on the 4th week.

Breezygal, I'm a 4.5 and I thought it fits fine. Sometimes when it's cold, it'll be more loose and when it's warm, it'll be more snug. This is probably due to the chemistry of metal contracting/expanding or maybe my fingers shrivel up when it's cold
Not sure if that was the case for you.

Gianna: I don't know too. Even when I'm cold, it is just fitted (it doesn't even spin at all). Whenever I take off my ring (even when i have been in the cold rain for a whole day), it makes my knuckle all red. It creates a little blister at the sides of my knuckle. I don't wear my ring 24/7. I take it off when I'm home. I want to be able to take it off without creating a blister on my finger. :(sad It also creates a LITTLE dent on my finger (maybe a bit snug?). I think I'll resize it up to 4.75 and have my wb made in 4.75 also. Maybe it's my stupid knuckle. :errrr: My FI doesn't want me to size up because he is scared it will fall off. However, I want it to fit comfortably.

Hmm..I guess depending on the Ering style you have, when a ring size changes, everything else on there has to change. Have you tried measuring your ring size again? Try measuring w/ a different jeweler... If tacori made a mistake and made your e-ring smaller than what was on the paper work, they should make you another one if it's not fixable.

I tried at different jeweller. I'm a size 4.5. So funny, the first time I got 4.25 because the guy at the store said I should get it smaller to avoid spinning. However, it was way too tight. It would go in with FORCE. Then, he measured the thing and realized it's actually closer to a 4 than a 4.25. Maybe Tacori sizing is a bit different than the sizing at that store? I don't know. OR... maybe I need to go a little bit bigger since I need to take it on and off all the time. I guess one good thing about tacori is that they have lifetime warranty. If something can't be fixed, they'll make you a new one.

My problem isn't the ring size but the quality of ring. Frankly, it was disappointing. The edges of the ring are bumpy. I know Tacori is supposed to be handmade and I can accept some some small variations, but we are talking about some major bulges. I just hope the next ring is going to be better.

I'm waiting for my Tacori to come back from resizing. I took it to my jeweler on the 10/17. If Tacori is responsive, I should expect it back this Friday (10/29). I'll keep you guys posted.

This is my biggest concern when I started my thread, but not too many responses (considering the number of Tacori ring owners on PS). I don't want my SO to shell out so much on a Tacori only for me to be disappointed with the quality.

I wish more people would chime in please..... (and thank you ;)) )
