hello PS :wavey:

I have been lurking and gathering info for about a month or so..thank you - this has become my new FB!!

i have enjoyed all the beautiful settings and it has made the choice process even harder - like trying to choose a favorite chocolate!

anyway, I love the Tacori 2620 pave in the medium version. I have a 1.45 round h&a and my ONLY concern (one of them!) is the shank size. my finger is a size 8-ish and I am concerned about finger coverage, but this is prob the biggest diamond I can get (at least now) and with the dainty shank, do you think it will look "too small"? i realize this is a subjective and rather stupid question, but i have to ask for opinions!

It seems all the girls who have this setting are a MUCH smaller finger size..... :o

thanks in advance! 8-)

I think that setting will be fine. However, there is a larger version (2607) with a wider shank. I tried the 2620 and the larger one on awhile back. I do not know the size of the center stones but I am sure the larger one is larger than 1.5 cts, but you can get an idea of the difference in the shank size. (Ugh, excuse the dry hands and nails!) My ring size is 5.5 and the 2620 was best with my wedding band.

thank you for your reply
your ring is beautiful on you - perfection!

ahh, yes, the Royal T! I just looked again and it starts at 1.8 and it is 10k! so waaay out of my range! lol. I actually ordered the 2620 rdmdp and I am just having the jitters!! it has only been a week and my mind is playing tricks on me! I just want my ring to be perfect! so few things in life are and that is the one thing I have been waiting and wishing for! (yes, besides health and all the other things in life that are so much more important) but this is also important to me

i am definitely driving everyone who will listen to me a bit nuts....but i have become obsessed and I kind of rushed into my choice a little.....and now it is too "late" and i think i am panicking a bit! i have always been a "return queen" and i think it just makes me nervous that this is so permanent! mind you, the wonderful man doesn't make me second guess anything! with him, I am 150%

thanks again for letting me ramble on.... :wall:

my Grandmother's ring and one of my kitties

Aww, we had a kitty soo much like that and her name was Socks...she was named before we knew she was a girl! lol! We thought for sure her personality was male!

How special to have your grandmother's ring!

I can relate to the fear of permanent ring decisions. My diamond is an anniversary ring, but it is in a plain solitaire because I am afraid to commit to anything! But at least I can wear it! I do prefer the 2620 for the size diamond you have and for mine, for that matter which is 2 cts. You will be FINE with it, and if you need to add width, you can get a 3mm wedding band or something. I like the shank on the e-ring not to be wide because that can make the center stone look smaller.

Please come back with pictures of your finished ring! I think it will be beautiful!!

I owned the 2620 RDMDP that held a 1.13ct avc and it had good finger coverage. It was size 7.5, though my finger is size 6 since we hadn't had it sized yet.

Sorry if these end up small, they were uploaded in my images but I can't get to them to post the larger files.

I think it's going to look fine! As DS said, a thinner band tends to make the center stone pop a little more…please come back with pics! Your kitty is so cute and I your grandmother's ring is beautiful.

thanks so much!! i just hope it looks good on me... as good as it does on everyone else! so much pressure

and i have to stop "looking" at other rings....like the 2623!! LOL
i kept saying i didn't want a 3-stone ring, but i love that one also!! tough choices, for sure
and my ring has been with Tacori for a little over a week, so I can't change.... :boohoo:

thanks - i always loved my Grandmother's ring and my Mom gave it to me a few years ago.....but i wanted my "own" for my engagement

i will def post pics and specs - all I do is look at everyone else's and daydream

and i love my cats!!

Would anyone mind giving me opinion on diamond?
:wavey:
If so i can add specs......
