I have a round e-ring and a marquise wedding band. I can not wear them on same hand. Any setting suggestions? Just received a 2.17 oval, which I LOVE and will be wearing that on my right hand sometimes( too big for working with patients) but would like to wear original rings together on other hand if possible. Thanks for your advice. Reds

The oval is not set yet, is it? If this is not toooooo weird, you can have the setting of the oval made so that it allows the band to sit flush with it. This would probably mean having the mounting custom-made, which is not bad at all

to start with. If there is a solution along these lines, a good jeweler will see it. Or wear the oval on a different right-hand finger? Not being e-rings, my rings usually reside on the middle fingers and don't bother either me or the rest of the world. Well, whatever sounds less weird, I guess...

Oh... and by 'PS protocol' (joke) posting pictures is stongly encouraged. How about one with the E-ring and the band on the same hand and the oval between two fingers nearby!!! The combination should be quite thought-provoking

My oval is set with a pear on each side and pave diamonds set in platinum. My original RB is tulip set and my wedding ring is 7 marquise set in 18k yellow gold which cannot at the present be worn on the same finger. Would like to reset RB to be worn on same finger as wedding band. Sorry for the confusion. Not sure how to blend my e-ring and wedding band. Thanks for your help Reds

Okay, that just sounds too stunning! Pictures are now 'mandatory'...heeehee.
