This thread is for any gemstones without the polished flat surfaces called facets.

Fine non-faceted gems offer a GLOW that illuminates an entire room! Alas, lately, I am seeing fewer non-faceted gem posts... I'm beginning to think PS has lost their love for non-faceted gems; prove me wrong!

To get us started: here is my undyed agate ring set in high-karat yellow gold!

It was thanks to the kind words of y'all PSers that I had the confidence to wear this ring every day!

Opal is notoriously difficult to accurately photograph, but your ring still looks absolutely beautiful. I especially love the multicolor accent stones. I'm going to guess sapphires, spinels, or tourmalines?

Is that faceted opalite?! I've never seen that before! unique and gorgeous! The emerald carvings with that perfect color and insane translucency still win for me!

Silver ring with agate, sapphire, turquoise, peridot, quartz, topaz, and emerald. The stones are worn for religious purposes, so quality is not a priority.

I win for variety of stones… You win for literally everything else (beauty, color, uniqueness, etc.)

They are all supremely gorgeous, but the pink tourmaline conical sugarloaf has me drooling! looks like candy

Okay, I have a selfish fever to ask: can we please get more pictures of the moonstone? It's one of my favorite gems and so underrated and that setting is cosmically beautiful!

I love your entire collection so much & love love that dumortierite! Your collection is so specific to you and each stone is so scrumptious!

Luckily I just received a little vintage moonstone ring in the post today, so I hope to share some pictures this weekend once I've given it a clean. I'll also dig out my other antique pieces that have cabs.

Luckily I just received a little vintage moonstone ring in the post today, so I hope to share some pictures this weekend once I've given it a clean. I'll also dig out my other antique pieces that have cabs.

I LOVE moonstone! When you have complete colorlessness giving way to a cosmic blue sheen...it's magic, I tell ya! Magic!
