Hi all, I recently started my search on a wedding band and is quite taken with the Elsa Peretti ring and how it hugs my ering. But knowing how much Tiffany''s usually charges, I was hoping you helpful PSers out there might have seen something similar(made with same materials). Thanks a bunch!

I''m interested in that too :) So I will watch this thread with interest and bated breath.

i just looked up the marlene harris collection and found these beauties - they really have quite a collection

Thanks for the pics rparker, I wonder if I''m allowed to re-post this thread in the brides & grooms section to see if we have any luck there?

It would help if you showed a picture of the band you are referring to...

And this is probably the right forum for this question, I wouldn't repost. Weekends are often slower than weekdays on PS.

Yep ditto - I have no idea what band you mean

Here are some Mark Morrell''s that have a similar feel to the Elsa bands:

Ah, excellent point and it was too crazy trying to post using an iPhone

Here's the Elsa Peretti Wedding Band

Thank you for the Mark Morrell suggestions! Does anyone know what would be the price range for Mark's wedding band pieces?

Thanks - I second the MM suggestion. Hopefully someone who has bought from him will see this and comment on pricing.

Honestly, if you have tried the EP setting and love it, the pricing is quite good for platinum IMO. I paid the same for my WG custom curved band. I''m sure the MM band will be pretty much the same price too. I''ve never seen another curved band with the diamonds set in like the EP band, if that''s a feature you''re looking for. It''s a beautiful fluid piece.

Ditto. The price isn''t horrid, and I think you''d have to go custom otherwise which IMO will be just as if not more expensive...

I also would just go with it if you love it. Speaking as someone who fell in love with a Tiffany band (whoops!), it''s difficult to resolve that in your mind if you weren''t open to actually buying a Tiffany piece in the first place

you think that you''ll be able to find better/cheaper elsewhere and that Tiff''s is automatically not worth the price... I think if we''re talking engagement rings and center stones that''s almost always true, because their huge markup comes in mostly with the large(r) diamonds. But for bands, their markup doesn''t play as much of a role, IMO.

If you love it, and want the platinum (as opposed to gold or white gold), then go for the Tiffany.

I JUST got mine yesterday. I''ll have to post photos soon...

The pricing is more than the Tiffany EP ring, but it looks really different so it''s going to be a preference on styles. The MM ring has rounded prongs holding the stones, but the EP ring, I''m not sure since I can''t tell from the photo.

MM quoted me $1350 for straight .13 carat diamond band to match the petite Sunburst engagement ring. He has a pic of the band on his website.
