One thing I've noticed about some princess cut settings is that the v-tips are a little larger / more prominent than I'd prefer. For example, I like the look of the v-tips on this setting:

which I feel are "daintier" than the WF settings, for instance.

If I'm looking for a solitare setting with "smaller" v-tips, is there a setting anyone here would recommend? I'm also curious if anyone has the same feeling I do toward different styles of v-tips.

:wavey: I prefer the daintier tips also. Some princess settings have more of a regular tip instead of a V-tip. Have
you seen any of these. Of couse the smaller the tips the less protection.

Here is an example

I still like the "petite" V-tips better thought. I think when you pick your stone you need to talk to the vendor, show them a picture
and ask if they can do it. I dont know if you need a particular setting that comes with dainty tips or if its something the
setter/benchman will make happen.
