Stud repair

I just dropped a Diamond stud earring and stepped on it. The post snapped off at the head. Do you think it can be soldered back on or do I need a new setting? It’s a platinum basket 4 prong setting from Blue Nile.

I'm sure it can be fixed. But take it to a jeweler with a laser machine.
