Dear experts,

Here is an Idealscope image that looks to me (in my untrained mind) to be ok, BUT I am concerned with the amount of white showing in this image. White = leakage. Is there too much white around the perimeter? I know a certain amount of white is to be expected. But I am not sure if this is bordering on too much. Please let me know your thoughts. I really want an *excellent* performing stone with lots of sparkle (don''t we all!!). Thank you very much!

You are invaluable.

the amount of white is just fine.
It is normal contrast leakage.

This is the normal amount of control leakage to enhance the contrast of the stone.

For instance, here is an Idealscope with very little white. Do you see the huge difference?!

I know some minimal white is needed for contrast, but the first one just seems way too much. But maybe I am incorrect in my perception?

weaker back light with this image makes for most of the difference.

Good luck Laila! Looks like excellent arrows! Thanks for your help!

Ditto, both good images and the first one looks great Laila, the white is just normal intentional controlled contrast leakage, this can be beneficial.
