stone identification on 1940s band?

Hi,
The attached pictures are of my grandmother's ring. She said it was from the 1940s. Is it possible to identify or at least get a few possibilities of what the stone in the inlay is? It's a medium bluish green with a slight amount of brown veins. Thanks img_4676_0.jpg

Turquoise and sterling, probably Native made, and it looks like the turquoise has darkened with age and wear.
These kinds of wedding rings are popular here in the southwest.

I pulled this pic from the internet, the ring below is from Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico
