Starco Jewelers discussion for dissatisfied customer http://www.starcojewellers.com.au/

I was just searching on google looking for some jewelers around Sydney area , and i found Starco Jewelers , but below the website a found a forum saying " do not shop at starco " a person bought diamond solitaire from the rhodes store in june 06 , it is about the experience for which he suffers a lot , i found that he has that discussion about june 06 , i wonder that at that time he purchased and then he is having the discussion now , WHERE HE WAS THIS LAST 10 YEARS ALMOST " ..I would like to suggest him a better solution so that he can get his money back or he can have another product as replacement . :twirl:

i am not the owner also i am not the person who is operating on behalf of STARCO JEWELERS , I AM just a man who want to have discussion on forums ,

lets have negotiation with starco jewelrs if you are dissatisfied - http://www.starcojewellers.com.au/

Sir / madam ,

it is really sorry to hear that you had a very bad experience , but there is a way so that you can have your loss replaced , and that is have discussion with STARCO JEWELERS , once you negotiate you definitely find some positive way , in order to get your solution.
Now as i see it was the incident during june 2006 , long time ago , now i think might be starco jewelers management is changed , they are more professionals and have learnt from their mistakes and ready to have a negotiation with you or ready to give all your losses back , but for all this assumptions you may have discussion with them . I know if some one is having loss then only they can go for such kind of steps but in order to get loss back you can have discussion with starco jewllers , fighting or ego problems should be avoided so that you also get your money back or product replaced and they also can give you good service and can have a long term relation .

ideally you must go for negotiation , why i am saying that because i had also same issue with another jewelry shop i went to them had discussion it was long discussion but at the end i got the product replaced with equal value , so i am suggesting you as a participator in this forum discussion , i wish you will get solution , if you get you purchased product replaced or money back instead you can delete you forum called " do not purchase------"

your post was done in 2007 , since then everything is changed i guess , and hope you will get better service this time

hope you will reply me back.
best regards

Re: Sorry this post cannot be answered

I googled Starco Jewelers and see what you're talking about. The results point to this Pricescope thread from 2007:

Your comments above are reasonable, but life has probably moved on for everyone since then.

There are many current discussions here. It's a great forum with diverse topics spanning all areas, including customer service.

As it relates to Starco, someone who does represent them could go into that old, critical thread with a reply. They could write "UPDATE 2015," acknowledge the old criticism and announce that management has changed. They could also encourage current customers to post honest reviews on the internet.

The original poster is probably long gone from here, as well. He or she will likely never see your comments, or even care.

yeah but how unfair is that ongoing for the shop for that long?

What's unfair about it? He had a bad experience. Should he not get to share that with others just because it might dissuade people from coming in? What if his experience is the norm? What if other people have had similar? Then it's unfair to other potential or current customers that it wasn't out there to warn them.

Everyone's got a right to share their experiences. You came here and "bumped" a thread from many years ago giving it more credibility and making it relevant again, giving fresh eyes to that person's bad experience. If anything is unfair to the business, it is you doing that. So way to go.
