Spring is here!! - an almost engagement post

my dear fellow posters, the fantastic boyfriend flew back from London yesterday night while I was at the movies with a friend. Frozen from the nightly bike ride in the wind, I climbed the stairs and... there he was. With a bouquet of fresh flowers and the magic little box. I still get the chills!!

The official proposal has still yet to be, but today I got to play a bit after another inofficial proposal including the promise I would not take it out of the house, so here are the first couple of pictures.

ahh complicated matter

my boyfriend proposed the first time the 13th of August. Of course I said yes and then started teasing him saying that it was not a real engagement, but more of a proto-engagement because he had not asked my father yet

he did not like this joke much at the beginning, but it got very sweet and fun once he realized he had the chance to propose many times in all sorts of ways while waiting for the right moment to pop the question *for real*.

now we are approaching that moment. we'll travel together to my home town and meet my parents there, so he'll have the chance to talk with my dad (of course he knows and approves of everything!). my boyfriend LOVES speeches, so I think he will enjoy having such a formal talk with my father we are both very very excited!!
