Looking at a cushion and wondering if anyone has input on these specs:
Cushion Brilliant

Measurements:7.21 x 6.85 x 4.78 mm
Weight:1.764 cts.
Total Depth:69.8%
Table:52.4%
Girdle: Think to very thick, Faceted
Culet:Large
Polish:Excellent
Symmetry:Excellent
Fluorescence: Negligible

Color Grade: AGS 2.5 - I
Clarity Grade: AGS 5 - SI1

I think its the crown?- angle 46.8
the bottom angle is 40.4

the inclusions are feathers including a rather large one on the left side of the diamond.

I have seen video and a photograph of the diamond and it looks ok, they were both done under the microscope so the feathers are easy to see. The vender (one of the best in the business) says it is eye clean

thoughts are greatly appreciated

You need to post the video and the pictures.

Stats don't tell us a thing. Numbers are meaningless with cushions.

THAT SAID. If this was sent to AGS does it have a light return value? (Hopefully a 0) I can't image why a cushion would be sent to AGS if it wasn't sent there for performance.

Also, please post the AGS lab report if you have it.

Hi Gyspy, I was hoping you would respond to my post :D
I have the AGS report and it does not have anything on it about light performance, is this something i could ask Perry to supply?

That video is frankly crap for seeing performance as the camera angle is all wrong. All I can see is that it has a high crown.

The picture is a mug shot still that show potential, but nothing else.

And Leon doesn't believe in ASETs or any new fangled technology.

So I can't tell you anything helpful. I personally would not buy a cushion sight unseen without more than one mug shot and a useless video. But if you go and ask for more because PS said so Perry's apt to get fussy. But you can try. More than likely you'll get something like "trust me, it's gorgeous, I wouldn't recommend it otherwise" and then it's up to you to decide if you agree.

That's what you get when you work with Leon and Perry. It's pretty much take it or leave it.

Just so you know: http://p0.a-ritani.com/uploads/production/video/encodes/41461/advanced.mp4 This is a helpful video.

This is also a helpful video: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Gs-yN5xRsyc

This is a helpful vendor listing: http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/8538/ See the multiple pictures of the diamond, including one of the inclusions, an ASET image. And when you click on the lab report it pulls it up and see where it says Light Performance and it says IDEAL.

That's what vendors that are truly interested in helping their customers make informed decisions offer.
