In looking at the PS price stats, the chart says that the average price for an H&A RB in the 3- 3.99 ct range, G, SI1 is $7800 per ct. I''ve been doing a little browsing and am not seeing any diamonds that look good in that range-approx. $32k. Most of the ones that I find on the WF and GOG sites are more in the $50k range. Am I reading something wrong? What gives?

Various factors can influence pricing, type of lab report, quality of h&a cut and cut in general, whether a diamond is eyeclean or not , vendor benefits such as cut analysis offered, upgrade policies etc - all of these factors and more can affect actual selling price.

Thanks, Lorelei. It sounds to me like the premium brands offered by some of the well known PS vendors, plus the upgrade policies, certs, level of service, etc. would account for the higher per carat price? Am I on the right track?

Yes you are on the right track! A vendor who offers these benefits can rightfully charge more than a drop shipper, as well as the other factors such as '' eyecleanliness'', cut quality, type of lab report etc.
