Seriously! It's not even that nice. And the worst part is all my knitting stuff was in there! That hurts the most!

Holy crap, are you kidding me???? I'm so sorry! I hope it is found, unharmed. And if it is harmed...I hope at the very least nothing was done with your knitting stuff. Hope you had good insurance...how violating!

Hugs to you!

It sucks! We have full coverage, but I also just realized that my favorite pair of Jack Rogers and most of my good bras were in there! And DH just told me his tools were. UGH

rule #1...never leave BRAS in the car.

I know, I know, but we've been moving! That's the only reason they were in there!

My library books were in there too. How long do you think I can keep re-checking them before I have to fess up??

Not your knitting stuff and bras! What's the world coming to? :nono: I hope your car can be recovered soon.

People seriously disgust me. So sorry this happened :( Because of your situation, I'm going to clean out my trunk tomorrow...I have some valuable stuff in there.

That really sucks. Soooo sorry... :nono:

Hold the phones! My knitting (and my car) is still gone, but the tub that had my bras in it was brought in the house so I have those!

I hope you get your personal effects back intact, as well as the car of course. We had our car stolen once, but it was just teens and they didn't do anything at all to it. We got it back the next day. It was a terrible feeling though. Good luck!

Ditto Lyra's sentiments!
This is horrible and I'm so sorry it happened. What an awful feeling. :(sad

I'm sorry - this made me giggle. I shouldn't, I've had stuff stolen out of my car and that sucked - I can't imagine having the whole car stolen!!! I'm really sorry. But, at least you'll have support!

I dare you to post a CL asking for your knitting stuff too, no questions asked.

:nono: :nono: :nono:

How terrible!! Hope your car, DH's tools & your knitting supplies are found ASAP.

Sorry about your car! Talk about stressful.

Maybe the crooks will at least have the decency to return the library books to the local branch! :)

Oh, and unless you can renew the books, the library will start bugging you in about 3 weeks and then a few weeks later charge you for the books. Once you return them though, they reverse the charges (I only know this b/c we always have 20+ books checked out and all the pokemon books look the same so we end up having a few that are overdue.)

I hope they find the people who did this to you. I'm so sorry. Having your car gone is such a huge inconvenience.

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this!!! Sometimes I just wonder what the hell is wrong with people?! I hope that they catch the jack a** that did this to you!

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!! How insanely frusrating, I really hope the police are able to find the person who stole it!

No word yet. Though DH just called and told me that the key ring to his truck was in the car... which included OUR HOUSE KEY. Even more awesomeness to deal with. I really, really hope these fools were just looking for a joy ride and not larger scale criminal activity.

How annoying! I really hate stuff like this. People can be so horrible! I hope you get your car and stuff back soon.

oh no. I'm sorry this happened. I hope it's recovered in the same condition they took it..and your knitting supplies too

*snort*

April I'm very sorry and I hope it turns up with all your stuff intact. Or if you want to claim - I hope it never comes back.

Re: Library books- I lost books once and went straight into the library and told them I had misplaced them and was very sorry and what did they want to do with me. They knocked the books off my register and said to return them if they turned up. I was so grateful I cried at the desk. (I was about 17!) Then lo and behold the books turned up some time later and I returned them. I also brought a big box of chocolates for the librarians to share out. So, my point (there is one, I swear) just go to the library with your police report and fall on their mercy.

April - I really hope you get all of your belongings back soon. I'd be hounding the police to keep on it.

Cops are no help when a car gets stolen. I've had it happen three times.

April-I am so sorry to hear this! It disgusts me when people do stuff like this :nono: :nono:

but at least you have bras :D

Change your locks NOW!!!! (your registration and other stuff in the glove box will have your address!)

I don't know anything about cars -- is there any way to change a car lock???

I'm so sorry this is happening to you ;( . Nasty criminals :nono: :nono: :nono:

We have the deadbolts that can be rekeyed at any time with the little tool, so at least we dont have to replace them!!

We aren't actually living in the house- we have renters- all the more reason to re-key, but at least I'm not worried about them coming to drive his truck off.

I know, at least I have my bras! I just got new ones earlier this year and it wasn't cheap. Try turning that into insurance!!

I keep walking around today going "Bring my #@*#$ knitting stuff back!
