Someone pleeeeease help! Starsgem CAD

So I saw this band that Starsgem had done before and I love it. I would like to change the “height” of the band closer to 3mm ( lower if possible but don’t think it can be with the 5mm stones) so it has a lower profile.

I would also like to change the widest part of the band to maximum 6mm, ideally it would be closer to 5mm range.

Is that at all possible to do with the stones sizes being how they are now? Would those measurements work if I had them change the gallery( the underside of the band)?

Would I have to change the stone sizes all together to get the lower profile and smaller width. I can’t seem to get them to understand and on top of that communication isn’t very good as well. I am working with Alisa? (Starsgem17)
Any and all suggestions welcome, I would love to just give them some measurements so things would be clear.

I just pulled out my stones and measured them. The 5mm stone is 3mm Deep, so there’s really no way to get it lower without risking it poking your finger all the time. Not ideal.

Same with the width. If you have a 5mm stone, you’re only taking .75mm of metal on each side. You wouldn’t be able to go any thinner without affecting the structural integrity of the setting.

I’d definitely leave it as is instead of taking metal away, and if you want it thinner height wise and width wise, you’re gonna have to go with smaller stones.

As Michellelynn said, the sizes for height and width are pretty standard based on the current set up. If you want to drop the profile, you can shrink everything down. Smaller stones will reduce some of the depth and allow you to get that lower profile.

If I were you, I would choose a size that can be done in lab diamonds. I have a bezel band from SG and when the moissanites don’t get a lot of light, they don’t really sparkle very much. The miligrain is ok but nothing great because it is machine applied. I think a graduated shared prong setting that is low profile and made in lab diamonds would be a much better design.

You do have a very valid point... if I’m going to be spending the money I might as well up it to lab diamonds.... do you have a inspiration picture I could see so that I have an idea?

I think there are many ways to do the band by graduating the diamonds. If you want it no wider than 6 mm, I would start with probably a 4.5 mm lab diamonds in the center and graduate both sides or maybe as a half pave or 5 stone. The bigger diamonds obviously cost a lot more. You could alternate two sizes. Here are a few examples.
