Someone on another forum died

Total shock and not a forum I post on anymore but he used to post on another forum I still post on and that's how I found out.

I guess you shouldn't talk ill of the dead. I will tell you my experience of the person is nothing like all of the wonderful things I keep hearing.

I can't be a part of that because it would just be fake.

I guess I'll just say RIP, anonymous poster.

As you said, people don't want to speak ill of the dead - at least, not publicly. However, between friends, sometimes the picture is very different.

Personally, after I die, I would like to be spoken of as I am: not perfect, but with some real good qualities and some very present defects. Don't turn me into a saint or the devil.

I think it is best to follow your heart instead of doing things just for appearances, or because everyone is supposed to.

I catch a lot of sh!t for this, but when I lay down and close my eyes at night I fall asleep almost instantly.
There are no knots to unravel.
