someone convince me

No way to judge eye-cleanliness with just images. Either you trust the judgment of the vendor or you do not.

I would trust Brian and Lesley. Their reputation is on the line. If you'd like, try to get Brian on the phone with your stone. If they say it's eye clean, I'm sure it is.... unless you have some type of superpowered eyes.

If it helps, I can't really see anything on the face of this particular photo.

Congratulations on your pending engagement. I purchased my first online diamond from BGD and was also weary of the purchase. But I had an absolutely positive experience. I was worried that my J color would not be white enough for me but Jamie reassured me that it faced up really white.. needless to say she was absolutely right. I would trust their judgment without hesitation.

These vendors have a good reputation because they are honest and stand by their work. If for whatever reason you get the stone and are not satisfied you can return it. Make sure you educated yourself on their upgrade policy and return policy.

If you are worried perhaps you can have the stone sent to you or an appraiser and look at it before set?

IF you are unsure, have an appraiser check it out. If un satisified, return it within the return period and start over.

I purchased an SI1 stone from BGD. Brian assured me that it was eye clean, and so it was. I trust Brian when he says that it is.

If you get the stone/ring and find you can see an inclusion(s), you can return it. But I really don't think you have to worry.

You can always have it sent to an appraiser, too, as others have said.

BGD do not carry diamonds in house that are not eye clean given the definition on their website.

But the only way to be totally certain is to have the stone sent to you loose and see it in person. Set your mind at ease. Then send it back to be set by BGD! It will cost you $100 in shipping and a little more time, but it will make you totally certain in your purchase.
