After much hemming and hawing on my part I bought this ring! For the diamonds obviously. They are carre cuts.

Based on this very technical picture the seller sent and the estimated carat weight, each diamond appears to be about 2.8mm and about .13-.15 carat. I ended up paying $800 which is pretty amazing given the 10g of 95% platinum should have a scrap value of about $500.

The diamonds look really nice but we shall see! No clue about color or clarity but seller says no chips or visible inclusions. Seller said no returns in their messaging but eBay international shipping (which cost me an absolute fortune) allows 30 day returns soooooo :evil2:

It was not such a huge huge deal because shipping costs were very high (eBay international shipping is wild), but even factoring that in I think it’s an excellent price. I’m nervous because it’s venturing into territory I’m less familiar with — I’ve only bought OECs and transitionals before. But fingers crossed. Like, do I need to worry these might be labs lol??

I didn’t actually remember when she initially posted the ring but when I started my search I went back though the last year of posts in this thread to see if there were any leads and came across her post! I’m appreciative because if these diamonds look as good in person I will be so happy.

I even think they don’t look super duper white in the photos (seller refused to make any claims about color or clarity lol). Which would be good for me! I would like if they were slightly tinted.
