of course it is more than just one locus on chromosome 6, but friendliness of people and animals, as well as genes involved in bonding between people and animals are of interest.

Do you know such people? It is tempting to think that they are the descendants of first domesticators.

Great article, very interesting to learn about this since I have a few dogs myself. It reminded me that there is a woman who lives in our county who literally lives with wolves and wolf hybrids, just like a dog, they sleep on her couch and everything else.

Confession, I thought she was out of her flipping mind but maybe not after reading this.
