I feel your pain!! That was me Spring of 2015. My fingers were too swollen to wear rings. PS..that damn camo cast was NOT what I asked for. I asked for Black cause it goes with everything. LOL Idiot surgeon thought I needed something with pizazz.
I had to endure that for 8 weeks! Ask for a black cast when you have to switch out that temp one. LOL

Holy Crap. Are you in Ontario? We just had a snowfall the last couple days & the roads are slick. I went to an orthopaedic surgeon for almost a year. I finally flipped my lid after about 8 mths telling them that my thumb was not getting stronger. I had a grade 4 ligament tear. The only thing I needed was surgery.They thought it would get better on it's own. Keep an eye on your wrist & don't let them tell you you don't need surgery. I used a simple 2L milk carton as my gauge. I couldn't grasp it when my injury happened & I still couldn't grasp it almost 8 mths in.
See how much sexier a black cast is...Of course, red nails help.
