So Not Happy With USPS Right Now....

I ordered a loose diamond from WF in late April, and still don't have it. So I went to thier webside and entered the tracking number and.....

I know. I'm really hoping it can be scared up and finish it's trip over here. It's not the F I was thinking, it's actually an I. The F is enroute, but it's not stalled in Sugarland.

That totally sucks, having said that I got this funny image of your diamond doing the rounds at a Willy Wonker type place since it's officially stuck in "Sugar Land".

Registered only shows the initial receipt and the delivery. It does not show tracking in between (or it has never before shown it when I shipped registered and I have done it many times). You are in another country right now, correct, Andelain? If so, I would think it would take a little longer than delivery here.

That is my experience with registered mail too. The only updates I have ever recieve are:
-recieved at the post office
-recieved at destination sort facility
-delivered

I have sent and recieved registered mail from our APO in S Korea and it has taken longer. Anywhere from 3-4 days to an additional week longer than when we were stateside.

I hope your package shows up soon, Andelain. It is always nervewracking when diamonds are in the mail, especially when there aren't frequent updates!

Actually what I should see is this;

"Your item arrived at a Military Post Office in ZIP Code 77232 on May 3, 2014 at 6:44 am. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later."

The tracking stalls at the MPO. I've had several sent here, this one is definitely overdue. I'll probably get the little F shown here in the next 2 or 3 days. The I is the first one to not show even reaching the APO.

Thanks, Vera. That'll probably get it moving again. Another time I had this happen, I asked the sender to file a claim. It re-appeared quick after that.

It just better be careful and not get any chocolate on it, it knows I don't like off colored diamonds!
