I was looking to purchase a small stone for a ring.
Came across this one. Can anyone give me some insight into this stone? It's a Round Brilliant.
Good? Bad? or otherwise..
Here are the stats on the stone.

Depth 61%
Table 57
6.47 - 6.55 x 3.97
1.03 carats
D color
SI1 clarity
Crown 34.2' 14.7%
Pavilion 40.6' 42.8%
Culet 0.8 Small
Girdle 1.5 Med. - 2.4 Sl Thick
Ex/EX Polish and Symmetry
No Flourescence.
It is not a branded H & A stone but they look pretty good from the pictures.
Price is mid $5K.

Wow. I'm not an expert, but just wanted to chime in and say that a carat is not small!!!

Don't see any pictures and I'm not an expert but those table/depth demensions sound pretty good.

Hi Sfanta123155,

Thanks for your post. The diamond you’re considering scores a wonderful 0.7 on the Holloway Cut Advisor, with excellent for light return, fire and scintillation and a very good for spread. The cut is certainly a winner, given the dimensions.

How eye clean is this SI1 and what are the types, color, size and location of the inclusions in the stone? Also, do you have an idealscope image of the stone showing light leakage or additional photos for us to consider as part of the assessment? If you could post those, that would be helpful as well.

At around $5k, it’s in line, if not competitively priced, with what other pricescope vendors are selling a stone with similar specs.

Hope this helps and please keep us posted.

Kindest regards always,

Same thought here. If 1 carat is small, may I ask what is BIG to you?

This sounds nice and you will definitely see the stone to make sure (given return period), right ?

When you say "nice from the pictures" - what pictures do you hvae in mind? (Ideal Scope or the usual...)? Those numbers are helpful but having some representation of the stone is even better.
