small-ish stone in CVB setting

Hey all! I am currently working with Caysie on a new setting for my .71 EC (5.93 x 4.24). In my anxiousness as I wait for CADs, I've combed the forums (and instagram) for past creations of hers and can't help but notice most center stones are twice the size of mine. I do not want to upgrade the EC, as it's very meaningful to me, but I'm worried about how the final piece will look with this petite EC. I've spoken to Caysie about how I'd like to increase it's coverage and I think we've decided to go with a casablanca halo modified to accommodate an EC. Does anyone have any pieces by CVB to share that have a .75 or smaller center stone? TIA!

Yes, Let me find my thread. I had a .93 OEC in a casablanca and it was about 6mm. It was an OEC so comparable to a .75 ct modern round brilliant.

CADs are here! I would love your thoughts. What sticks out to me most is the shank actually tapering out thicker on the bottom, furthest from the head. I'm going to ask if she has the actual MM for that so I can decide whether that would be comfortable. I also wonder in the third photo if it looks perilously thin where the platinum flower meets the rose gold, I would hate for that to be a weak spot. My ring size is about an 8, and like I've mentioned this isn't a very large stone, so I do still worry about coverage.... I don't know theres much I could do to modify the halo to amend that though. I had little preference when it came to shoulders and the basket, I think I'm happy with where she went with both. Any and all feedback appreciated!

P.S. Does platinum always look this dark in CADs?
