Hi. I have found a diamond that looks really nice but the CA is 33.5. It is my understanding that an ideal CA is 34-35. The specs of the stone are below. Would this still be considered an ideal cut? The cert says it is H&A. Could it possibly be with these specs? Thanks.

CA 33.5

Depth 60.1
HCA 1.1 All Excellent

It's fine, it's not really a low crown angle.

Yes, it just needs a complimentary pav. angle, and this one looks good. There are certainly good stones out of the 34-35 parameters, but it just helps some people to have a starting point.

It's from BN so I don't have a pic of the hearts.

BN only sells AGS and GIA stones I think, do you mean that the report has H&A in the comments? If so then GIA/AGS isn't endorsing the claim of H&A, just noting that someone somewhere decided to engrave H&A on the stone - but since we don't know anything about who decided that or what criteria they used it's a meaningless designation unfortunately!

BN does have a generous return policy and numbers are fine so if you're interested I'd definitely consider having it shipped out to look at in-person.
