Skeptical diamond price, but bit the bullet anyway. Help?

Hello all,

Long time reader, new poster! I recently have been shopping for an engagement ring and have been doing a TON of due diligence. I have been using HCA as an eliminator for diamonds both online and in-store. I went the online route because local stores cannot beat their pricing, not even close.

Here are 2 GIA report links to 2 similar diamonds, off by .01 in carat.

General Specs for Both:
Shape: Round
Carat: 1.61/.62
Color: G
Grade: VVS2
Cut/Polish/Sym: Triple EX
Fluorescence: Med. Blue

Both of these diamonds are sold online and 1 of them i purchased. There is a significant ~$2500 difference between the 2 diamonds and the 1.61 (1.6 HCA) has a higher HCA score than the 1.62 (4.1 HCA)


I am just concerned about the 1.61 diamond's heavy discount that isn't seen on paper/HCA or opinion of online consultants. Anyone have any idea why the big difference between the 2?
