what is pavilion?? and what should I look for when considering this....

The pavilion is the lower part of the diamond you see when looking at the stone from the side. It''s the part that tapers in toward a point. I''m not sure what you mean what you should look for with the pavilion. There are many aspects of a diamond to consider and mainly you want a well cut diamond.
