I am having difficulty deciding on a setting. I like the three row domed micro paved one on White Flash.

Although I like it, I am very reticent to spend +2k on a set. Ideally, 1k is enough.

What I like about the White Flash is how the stones do not flare up. BlueNile has similar settings, but, all of them have a slight flare upward on the ring. (See picture)

Can anyone recommend a similar setting where the sidestones remain flush on the ring and do not have an upward extension as it approaches the center stone? Again, the White Flash ring is an example of that, but it is a bit expensive.

White gold - 18 or 14k does not matter too much.

The one you listed is similar to the BN one. Do you see that flare as on either side of the center stone? Basically, I just want the side stones completely flush.

That is much closer - but, still not quite what I am looking for. Plus, I would like to find something a *little* bit cheaper - if I can get a set for $1,000-$1,500 that would be my target. So, that would put the ring itself around 500-800 + another 500-800 for the band. I haven't checked out JamesAllen but I am looking at it now.

Edit: something like this: http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/settings-with-sidestones/ring/item_58-1084.asp
But more sidestones, and thinner.

Good luck.

Thanks for the numerous replies so far:

In terms of style/looks - I am leaning toward this one:

http://www.whiteflash.com/Engagement-Rings/Styles/Diamond-Settings/The--Legato--Diamond-Engagement-Ring-with-Micro-Pave_1071.htm#

However, it''s also 1k and another 1k for the band.

The James Allen one comes in second:
http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/pave/White-Gold-2-1mm-French-Cut-Pave-Engagement-Ring.html

It''s at a better price point and very close to what I am looking for. The only thing that turns me off is the ridges; I prefer something a bit streamlined and not have all of the waves. (is there a matching band that goes with that?) Still, it''s certainly very close, and it is a good one to consider. I really have to think about this one.

Somehow I am floored how much these things can go for (http://www.ritani.com/products/view/445/in_category/1).

The BN ones are decent, but I just don''t like how the grow at the top. If there rings managed to keep the same (or close to the same) thickness the entire way though, I''d jump on it in a heartbeat.
