I was wondering if anyone here ordered photo books from shutterfly? How is the quality? Any tips?

I''m putting together a wedding album on there now, love the interface. Not so crazy about the choice templates, but still, it''s pretty good. I''m just hoping the quality is on par!

Well, I don''t have any experience with the photo books, but I have just used Shutterfly to make photo note cards and a photo calendar and both are AWESOME! Very high quality -- absolutely rivals high quality stationary store items, and I couldn''t be happier!

Thanks!

My biggest concern is durability. I''m worried that in 5 years it''ll just start falling apart since I don''t know how well the binding holds. :/

They previews are gorgeous though :)

ARG!! My post got eaten

Use google images to search for:
Shutterfly photo book
Snapfish photo book
Blurb photo book

I''m worried about the bindings myself, and am hoping someone who has bought one chimes in.
I had a calender made through snapfish, and was very pleased with the quality.

Check out www.photobookamerica.com The quality looks outstanding, but it is more expensive, $80 for a 11" x 8.5". Right now they''re running a 40% off special, though. I''m considering getting two of these (total would be $96 + shipping), for our moms for Christmas.

I have two photo books from Shutterfly and I love them. I haven''t had them long enough to talk about durability. I''ve had them a couple years, but they don''t get consistent use. I''ve been very pleased with them though. Often times they run specials on the photo books, so you can wait to order till then and get it cheaper. Or check retailmenot.com for couppon codes. :)

I use Snapfish...and I love it. I have never used Shutterfly, but I also make photobooks.

Snapfish has many backgrounds...you can mix and match themes of paper, which is really nice. If I can get some half-decent shots, I will post a few so you can see how the pages turn out.

I have a Shutterfly photobook that a friend put together about four years ago, and also I made my wedding album two years ago using it. We keep that on the living room table, and we page through it from time to time. It doesn''t get a lot of use, but the glossy cover is still in nice shape and the binding is holding perfectly well.

A friend recently put together an absolutely beautiful family history/photo album using Blurb, and the quality of the binding on that seems top notch.

i use snapfish which I would assume is probably similar in quality to shutterfly. I LOVE them and they have held up fine over the years.

I made Shutterfly albums with our wedding photos and I''m very pleased with them. I was able to take advantage of a couple of different deals/codes for free shipping, half off, etc so that made it even better! I got the leather covers and so far they''ve held up great this past year. I definitely recommend them!

Thanks! I just placed an order :) We''ll see how they look!

I made the ex FI a book on shutterfly and it turned out really nicely! The binding and cover turned out great along with the photo quality!

I used Shutterfly to make my guestbook. Too early to comment on durability, but it looked nice!
