Last night's dessert was baked Alaska.

Just to be sure there's no confusion -- I ORDERED and ATE that gorgeous thing, but I certainly didn't MAKE it! I can't even Alaska on a map!

I havn't been brave enough to go to the supermarket for so long it took me a long minute to work out what that last photo was

The cats soon worked out the little truck brings the cat lollies (temptations)

We got delivery for so long, but i am
Really picky about the produce! Excited to be able to go back. I usually go early in the morning, I live right near a university and none of the students are up yet so it’s really empty

Depending on the day we get our deliveries i notice a difference in the way the fresh produce is.
like one person takes care and chooses our fruit and veges like she/ he would for their own family
and on certainl other days of the week its just kind of thrown in there looking like the stuff from the bottom of the display

You know the ends of bread loaves no want wants? Made this individual serving of overnight french toast bake in a ramekin. It’s NYT’s recipe which is for a 9x13 baking dish but guestimated when scaling for 1 serving.

Garlic.... Chicken and 40 cloves from Alton Brown modified to our preferences. Eight heads of garlic and enough chicken for just the one meal. Yes, I did eat 4 heads of garlic in a sitting

DH couldn't manage all his garlic. We'll have to finish it tomorrow. Yes, I do have many antacids on hand!
