Hi! Santa was nice to me this year.


My husband bought me this pendant from Pearl Paradise, it's gorgeous, but I'm not 100% sure I am keeping it. I really do love it, but I don't care for the chain. But I can't get it to work with any of my other chains.

I got the deco ring that I posted in a separate thread, but I think I may be the only person who likes it...150 people viewed it and not one comment!

Also got an older Suburban that I wanted, and most importantly I got to share seeing the look on our children's faces this morning with my husband. That was the biggest gift I could have gotten.

DH commissioned and helped design this necklace for me for Christmas. I love his new hobby: acquiring stones (mostly old cuts) and designing jewelry! I was quite surprised!

Gypsy, I've seen pendants like that before. If you don't like the chain, you'll have to find something else that's delicate, have the jeweler take the end cap off so he can slide the chain through, and then the end cap will have to be soldered on again, but unfortunately it won't be a pendant that you can alternate chains with.

My Christmas bling has not shown up yet, but according to Lesley they are working on it today, I won the BGD pendant!!!!! Brian called me Christmas Eve to tell me and I am beyond thrilled. I almost did not answer the phone when it rang, so busy wrapping gifts, but when I saw the Texas phone number something told me to pick up the phone! It is a 14kt Rose Gold Barbara pendant on a 16" chain with a .60 D BGD Signature Hearts and Arrows. A "D" holy cow I am soo excited! Will post pics when I get it.

We agreed not to get gifts for each other this year because we took a trip to see daughter in December that cost a lot of money, but on Christmas Eve hubby surprised me and took me to my favorite local jeweler who has a "gently loved" case of beautiful jewelry and he got me a 2ct yg diamond bracelet! I was shocked! And we got it for an AMAZING price! Weather here stinks for a good picture right now but will get one soon.

I am getting a new eternity band to complete my stack!!! So excited! I was very surprised! It will be exactly like my shared prong eternity because we are using the rest of the diamonds we had from DH's mom's ring. It will go on the opposite end of my stack. Then I think I will rest from wanting new rings for a while I will move on to another body part. Ears, maybe???

It will be a few weeks, but I will be sure to post pics when it arrives!!!

Was it already determined that it would be rose gold or did you get to choose that?

I didn't get any major bling, but my DH did give me a lovely little sterling silver and opal Hamsa hand pendant that he bought while in Israel on business. I also got a Pandora bracelet with a super cute four-leaf clover charm (b/c my bday is St. Patty's day and I'm a true blue Bostonian).

DH surprised me with this lovely pendant from BN:



It's 18k WG--from a rough estimate, the center of the flower is about 20-25 points, and I'm guessing each side "petal" is about 8 points. I'm impressed with the quality of BN's melee. It is a little ball of fire!
